Belkin DualFit Armband for iPod touch 4th Gen (Black) $7.99 fs @ amazon / LDs!

Tried to get this with Amazon credit for BF LD snafu, but looks like it does not qualify. Pass, good deal though.

From several of the reviews, it's not for a 4th gen iPod anyway. Even the Belkin site says that part number is for a 2nd gen iPod touch.

I wonder what the difference is, anyway. I got the Belkin Dualfit for my 2nd/3rd generation Touch and have since sold that unit and use the armband with my 4G 8 GB Touch and it works fine. Perhaps it is a tad looser inside of the armband that my old Touch, but not enough to make one think that the armband was not made for it.

Anyhow, the deal looks to be dead. Still, if you can get your hands on the 2/3 Gen version of this armband at a great price and you have a 4G Touch, I recommend you get it, as it will work very well. I use mine at the gym.

I'm not sure, the one review I linked to said that the 4th gen iPod is longer. Some reviews said it would fit as long as there's no protector on the iPod. There was enough of a doubt for me that I didn't buy it for my wife though I've been looking for one for her.

At that price I kind of wish I would have gone ahead and bought it and just sent it back if it didn't fit right.

btw, it's dead because it was only offered at that price during a lightning deal.

In any case, the 4G fits just fine in the older model Belkin Dualfit case. The home button and screen are well-positioned in the "pouch" of the armband.

BTW... be careful of the words "water resistant" in the description. The plastic may be able to shake off water drops, but there are openings all over this thing to slip in the Touch on one side and the headphone jack on the other.
