Thanks for posting that. I was really close to going with a Panasonic Plasma. If I do go with one I would definitely get the extended 3 year warranty thru panasonic for it.

What proof did you use to price match with? I can't find any current ads from Best Buy with the price. And does Sears deliver for free?

I was happy. It was another 10% off on the price difference not the total price. Since there was a $200 price difference, I got another $20 off. To answer your question, yes, the 10% off on the difference is part of their price matching policy.

I have also read many good reviews on AVSforum.com. It's not as good as a ST30 but it's much cheaper too. I bought this TV for my bedroom because I didn't need a top of the line TV but I still wanted something decent. For my living room I have a 65" Panasonic Plasma P65VT30.

I actually used a Best Buy Black Friday ad just to show Sears the price and model number. I also wrote down my local Best Buy's phone number next to the TV. I encouraged them to call Best Buy to confirm the current pricing and availability. Sears did call to confirm both the price and available stock. When Sears called Best Buy they had 4 available. I was told that Sears doesn't need an ad to price match but they do need to confirm current pricing and availability. I am not sure about delivery because I picked it up directly from Sears for free.

I didn't assume... I actually added the TV to my cart to see the price (see attached), and I did see this TV in store and verified the price of $799 when I picked up some items on cyber monday... So probably a YYMV deal.

How are you even adding the TV to your cart? I don't know where your getting the $799 from at Best Buy. When I do a search on Best Buy, I get it listed for $999.99 with a line through it "see price at checkout" and "IN STORE ONLY." Was that a previous order? Instead of posting a pnf file, post a direct link. I will call in the morning to veriffy pricing. What city and state do you live in and I will verify pricing there too?

I tried several different times to add the TV to my cart directly from Bestbuy.com but I keep getting the same thing.

FYI, I purchased this TV in Fort Myers, Florida. One of my good friends purchased the TV in Bakersfield, CA last night for the same deal, $550.99 plus tax.

I never did find one at Best Buy for $799.99, of the places that I called that had available stock, all of them were $599.99.

I had a little time and thought I would make a few random calls…
Kennesaw, GA available “in store only” for $599.99
Johnson City, TN available “in store only” for $599.99
Arden Fair, CA available “in store only” for $599.99
Quail Springs, OK available “in store only” for $599.99

There are many more stores that have available stock I was just trying to compare prices across the US.

I amost forgot, between myself and my friends, we have 4 of us who picked up the TV for $550.99 plus tax. I live in Florida, and my friends live in GA, TN, CA. So far it's 100%.
