Chase credit card 5% Cash back categories for 2012

Here are the categories for 5% cash back for 2012.

Jan - Mar:Gas Station & Amazon.com
Apr - Jun: Grocery Stores & Movie Theaters
Jul - Sep: Gas Stations & Restaurants
Oct - Dec: Hotels, Airlines, Best Buy, Kohls

Please note that you need to activate cash back for every quarter and you can do that up 15 days before the quarter begins.

yes, but chase is a 1:1 pay off for cash rewards while the citi is not.

Just got an email from Chase previewing CB reward categories for 2012. Amazon.com in 1st Quarter (EDIT: let's hope they let you buy GCs!). Rest are listed below:
