umm 3 random people saying its not that good doesnt mean anything to me. Itll take decent quality point and shoot photos, has adjustments in the menu for different environments. thats what most people just dont understand- you need to learn settings to get the most out of a camera, one setting doesnt fit all. Im not opposed to their not being an on board battery-i used to hate it, but now rechargeables have come a long way, and i dont like being stuck somewhere with a dead camera-being able to buy some double As at the drugstore is a huge plus. This isnt a DSLR camera, but a decent point and shoot with a bit more zoom.
This was a Black Friday deal at Target for $99, so it's a great deal. Get rechargeable AA's if you're worried about going through too many batteries, and keep 4 alkaline or 4 more rechargables for emergencies. The Canon 3300, although recommended for what it is, can't touch this for zoom ability, or optic size.
