Cirque du Soleil Shows Las Vegas Coupon: 2 for 1 tickets for Zumanity starting at $99, up to 40% off of KA

This promotion has been going on for a while now and I finally got around to posting it here. I work at Zumanity as an usher and we pass out these coupons around the New York New York Hotel & Casino from 6:10pm to 6:40pm. I'm not sure if the other hotels do this as well, but just come around to any of the locations below from 6:10pm to 6:40pm and ask for a coupon. The 2 for 1 for $99 starts at the balcony and does not include taxes and fees. You can get upper orchestra seats or lower orchestra seats with these coupons as well, it'll just cost like $20 more or something.

Pre-Show: There is a pre-show that starts 15 minutes before the show begins (so 7:15pm and 9:45pm)...it is absolutely hilarious!!! Don't miss it. In addition, some of the rest of the cast will be out in the lobby to take pictures with and sign show programs at about this same time. (Photos are not allowed in the theater, only in the lobby, so take advantage of this time to get some photos of the cast).

Also, if you have seen the show, I would recommend watching it again, especially if you saw it more than a year ago. I started in May 2010 and quite a bit has changed since I first saw it. There is a whole new act and several acts have had minor, effective changes.

Location 1 = Right next to the sportsbook & The Sporting House
Location 2 = Right next to Nine Fine Irishmen
Location 3 = At the bottom of the escalators when you come into the hotel from the bridges from MGM and Excalibur
Location 4 = Near valet/taxi entrance & near hotel registration
Location 5 = Near group of 3 ATMs between The Bar at Times Square and IL Fornaio

My seating recommendations:
Best sofa seats = back sofas (only in sections 101 and 104). Front sofas are fun to have (the artists are likely to interact with you) but it is hard to see everything.
Best lower orchestra seats (100s) = Section 101 high numbers (16 to 19), any seats in 102 and 103, Section 104 low numbers (1 to 4). Rows C, D, E, F, and G are good for seeing everything.
Best upper orchestra seats (200s) = Rows H and J in sections 202, 203, 204. Row K in 202 and 204. Section 203 has the sound booth right in the center of it, which would be just below your view of the stage the entire show (affects the middle of rows K and L the most).
Best balcony seats = Section 301 high numbers, any seats in 302, 303, and 304, section 305 low numbers. Sections 301 and 305 are all cabaret stools with a "bar" in front of you to lean on and put your drinks and stuff.

LOCAL DISCOUNT = 50% OFF, which I believe is better since you don't have to buy in multiples of 2. Ends up being around the same cost for multiples of 2 I think.

Showtimes: 7:30pm and 10pm
Dark Days (no shows): Wednesdays and Thursdays
DARK WEEK: No shows from December 13 through December 22 - almost forgot about this
New Years' Eve: We only have the 7:30pm show, no 10:00pm show

ALSO: On the back of these coupons, there is an offer for KA, which says "up to 40% off," which I'm not sure how that goes since it says "up to 40%" and not 40% off. I'll try to get a picture of the back side up as soon as I can.

NOTE: Do not print out the picture of the coupon and bring it to the box office. You can try calling and asking about the 2 for 1 promotion but I don't know what they'll ask you or if they'll require you to bring one of the coupons.

In my opinion, this is the best deal you can get on Zumanity tickets, other than getting then comped somehow.

Supposedly, there is a future coupon that we will have which will be 40% off of any Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show, but I'm not sure how that will work out since Mystere (Treasure Island) is no longer under MGM Resorts.
