Is this the same price in the CVS store? I want to get 2 + filler and use the $5/20 CVS coupon that is out.

I'm also curious if anyone was able to purchase it as this price in-store. I can't really imagine having $40 of stuff to purchase from CVS.

Shipping completely kills it, this is more of a filler item for FS.

For those that find it hard to see spending $40 at CVS, I envy you.

Between hair styling products, makeup, shampoo/conditioner, nail care, medicine cabinet supplies and various other feminine sundries, If I banned my wife from CVS my bank account would swell nicely.

Price is even better now. Dec 3rd and 4th they are doing their Friends and Family sale, just log into your account (create one if you don't have) and enter FRIEND30 to bring the price down to $8.18!

Just received an instant $5 off coupon via email to "complete my purchase". It seems that since I have an account and left my cart full ($40+) while signed in, they sent this out as an incentive to come back and make the purchase.

It worked because not only did I discover that the available discount went from 25% to 30% but this instant $5 (off $25 or more) stacked with all the rest!

Also, if you didn't want to spend $40+ for free shipping, you could use this coupon to cover all but 50 cents of their flat $5.49 shipping on a $25 order.

Yeah it's tempting to build an order around this, but your title should reflect total outlay for just the item(s) mentioned. I used to shop CVS a lot but you actually hit it on the head: it's HARD. There are so many constantly changing and expiring and stacking coupons and ECB's. And almost every single trip to the B&M store I had a problem with something scanning at a higher price, a valid coupon beeping, etc. Cashiers and managers were usually less than helpful, and when I asked corporate if the stores could scan clearance items at full price, deny coupons because they feel like it, etc. they basically blew me off. While Wag's is similar to this annoying, high-low pricing business model in some respects, they are just not as bad in any of them.

Getting the best price from CVS is like taking up a very boring hobby. So you can have Convenience or Value, but not both at the same time. As for Service, it varies a lot from store to store, but some are just BAD. So anyway, bottom line I'd rather just go with Amazon for $15. </rant>
