Actually bought this one at Costco over the weekend for $110 - decided to return it since the reviews were mixed at best.

*Sigh* this was NOT on sale for $99 at Best Buy on Black Friday anyway . . . that was INFERIOR Seagate not Western Digital. If not for the silly 25 off 100 coupon PURCHASE nonsense, I'd jump on this. I wonder where all those Staples coupons originally come from, I've never seen one and I've shopped with them since they first opened.

Just because you chose a wrong day to buy the HDD does not make it a good deal.
Just picked up a Toshiba 1TB USB 3.0 portable for $45 today (Link).. so please don't bring up that Flood crap. Wait for Amazon to have it back in stock and PM it. They had it for $130 just last week |

Yeah, that's funny. You mean the inferior 3 platter, 3TB 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001, the same ones that are selling for an average of about $215 right now on Ebay.
