Selections vary depending on the Sears Outlet location. Of course, the 75% is off the Sears full retail. As far as I can tell, Sears sells their mattresses for half off their list price. So, you can save up to half off their everyday sales prices. There are some real deals.

Today, I bought this Simmons Beautyrest Matira Extra Firm Queen Mattress NEW [searsoutlet.com] for $414, which has a list price of over$1600 [sears.com].

Some mattresses are new, like the one I bought, and others are store returns. Certainly worth checking out.

EDIT: When you click on a mattress it will say "reconditioned", but when you "Check Availability" it shows both the "like new" ones (which are actually new) and the reconditioned ones. Be slick and look for the like new ones. Again, I went to the actual Sears Outlet store and witnessed several brand new, factory sealed Beautyrests. YMMV.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Good luck with your reconditioned bed bugs. I hear they don't do jack squat to them.

Somebody didn't like it when they slept on it and returned it.

I bought a brand new bed not a reconditioned one. They had quite a few new Beautyrest mattresses. I had a real savings of at least a couple hundred dollars off their sales prices.

Regarding the returns, they sanitize them before selling. Whatever that means.

Link the new ones because every mattress I have clicked on says RECONDITIONED!!!

Your link to begin with goes to a brand new one at 1600+.

It's a flaw in their listings. For example the one I purchased it here: http://www.searsoutlet.com/Matira...uyUsedOnly

It says "reconditioned", but when you "Check Availability" it shows the "like new" ones, which are actually new. Try my zip for this example: 95815

Glad you found new though OP. Sounds like a good score. These deals, not so much.

"Like New" and "New" aren't the same thing.

How do you know "like new" means new?
Sounds gross.

They are new. They are factory sealed. They have never been in a customer's home. They may have some cosmetic damage that occurred in the warehouse.

Mine was perfect with a manufacturing date of 10/28/11.
