FYI
Expansion 1.5TB USB 2.0 contains the Seagate ST1500DL001 (Three drives that I bought all had the same HDD).

B&M ONLY!

Link for reference:

http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...2000000391

To use OP's code, follow these instructions:
1) Click on that link above
2) Choose a store
3) Go back to the product page by clicking the above link again

To check availability:
Firefox: Tools, Web Developer, Web Console, (or ctrl+shift+k), paste the code into the Address Bar, & hit enter:
Code:
javascript:(function() {var a=$("#skuId").val();callDwrForPostalCode(a);$("#in store-main").show();})()
Thanks whitrzac for figuring this out.

Chrome: Follow steps 1-3. Click on Wrench, Tools, click on Javascript Console, (or just ctrl+shift+j), paste the code into the Address Bar, & hit enter.

IE: doesn't seem to work

Here are the steps for Internet Explorer 9. Should be the same for earlier versions.

1) Click on the link to the product.
2) Change to store pickup, top right corner of the screen.
3) Choose your store, the product will show as unavailable
4) Using your history, go back to the product page, or just click the SD link again. It should now show the clearance price.
5) Hit F12 to bring up the Developer Tools
6) Choose Console, paste the Java code in the bottom, hit enter, and you should get pricing for your store.

You can copy and paste in different product links, and then hit "up arrow" then "enter" to rerun the java code with them. It works easiest if you use a separate window and copy the links to the products in to it. You have to have the product page visible, or it doesn't work.

ATTN:DESKTOP is AC POWERED (can also be taken out of it's enclosure and used as an internal desktop drive, but if enclosure tabs are broken, warranty is voided) & PORTABLE is USB POWERED

found this thread with a $10 off $30 coupon from Officemax. Says good on clearance and does not exclude technology

Here is a list of drives on sale by price, please add any others as you find them:

Seagate Expansion 320gb for $9.94 -- http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...B-20-Hard/

Seagate Expansion 1.5TB for $29.93 -- http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...B-20-Hard/ (Some stores show a higher price on the website. Find another store number with the $29.93 price and have the clerk select that store and look up the product as proof to get the lower price.)

Seagate Expansion 2TB for $10.94 -- http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...2000000353 (appears to be pretty rare but reports of some stock in thread)

Seagate Expansion 640gb for $0.01 -- http://www.officedepot.com/a/prod...B-20-Hard/ - Seems extremely rare

It is POSSIBLE to place an order at your local Office depot and have them shipped from a random store to your house! I placed an order for 2 and I live in Omaha, NE and its being shipped from a store in Missouri!

I'm seeing $164.99. What am I missing...?

I should add that it didn't give me the option of pick-up at store when I selected my store with "limited availability." It says delivery only at full price.
That is for delivery.

Change to pickup at the top. Reclick the link.

The price dropped but then it says : This item is available for delivery only.
This can be corrected by changing to delivery mode, selecting Save For Later, or Removing this item.

Still delivery only. Displayed the in-store price, but then won't let it add to cart.

Officedepot clearance is always B&M. You can't add it to your cart.

It's based upon store, for a closer store I got $120.00, for a store in CT (70 miles away) I got $29... too bad I can't drive all the way there Frown

How do you check stock? I've changed it to pick up and it's displaying the clearance price, however I can't figure out a way to check if the store actually has any.
