Ainol Novo7 tablets are internally slightly different, but they got the same name Ainol Novo 7 while CPU, GPU and other features differ. Such as Android 2.3 and Android 3.2, so the Androi 4.0 will be much different as well, thought the Ice Cream Sandwich version hasn't been sold yet. Pandigital 7" Color Touchscreen 2GB Tablet PC Featuring Android Operating System.
I believe they paid $88.88 at Walmart.
Is this one better than the one they bought?
She loves to play BigFish Games,can the Pandigital handle them?
Also we have Netflix,will that work also?

how would this compare to a touchpad? this looks a bit thicker than TP and theTP is about 3" bigger ;D

is there a website that reviews these off-brand tablets? this is exactly my price range, don't want to spend more for something I may or may not like.

I hear Eken is a good brand, not sure what model to pick up though. All I really care about is screen quality and hackability.

The Novo7 will almost definitely be a better tablet. Without knowing the exact model of Pandigital you have, it will be hard to say if it will have issues running certain games. I have a PD Novel and it struggles to run Angry Birds. Plus most Pandigital tablets seem to be resistive screen (press harder or use a stylus - no pinch and zoom, etc) while the Novo7 claims to be 5 point capacitive touch. Not sure about other differences.

Just a few things to remember - these tablets from pandawill ship from China. They will take approx 3 weeks to arrive unless you pay for extra shipping. If you have issues with the tablet and need to file warranty claim, you will have to pay for shipping back to China and wait for them to fix it.

I ordered the Novo7 for my 9 year old. I never received an order confirmation, only a paypal receipt. I have used their "contact us" form on the website twice and still have not received a response. I ordered the Advanced model and turns out the Basic is the one that will get Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) first. Apparently the models use different CPUs. I was going to place an order for the Basic model, but I won't until they respond to my request for info.
