LG 42" 1080p 120hz LED HDTV (42LV5500) - $508 (open box) at newegg (plus free shipping / no tax)

Been watching this TV (and the 42LV5400) for a while. Price is $508 but is open-box. Amazon price is currently $792 but has been as low as $720 in the past few weeks.

Still... for a $200+ discount (roughly 30% off), I am willing to roll the dice on an open-box. All I really need is the TV.

Newegg offers 30 day return for a refund only (so you don't try to return it and get a brand new one).

Bezel came with a crack in it; trying to find a replacement for it since Amazon is out of stock and I can do refund only. I wonder if any of these open box ones have cracked bezels or other damage.

I purchased an open-box 55lw5600 from amazon warehouse and the only damage indicated was that it would be repackaged. It came in perfect condition and in the original box too. Of course, not every one's experience will be the same as mine.

You might be referring to a different model number. That would be the 42LV4400 which is not a smart tv.
