If you see it after putting it in the cart, which I didn't do, then say so.

This is a common deal for teachers and parents (if they have a code through the school sometimes) to buy. They are usually cheap, thin and floppy softcover versions of the hardcover books that are popular. They sell 1.00 books through my daughters school all the time through schoolastic and a few other book order companies. My MIL is an aid and orders 60 bux at least worth of the 1$ ones a few times a year for various holidays to give to the kids. Not a bad deal..but not slick. JMO

Just want to mention my daughter loves these books. Kids don't care if they are hardcover or soft.

Yes, price is reflected in your cart. I tried it just to see, though I don't plan to order since I just spent nearly $50 on scholastic books through the classroom forms.

I used to buy books. Now I think it's better to borrow books because my kid is more likely to read those books if they are from the library.

Looks like books are random. Was hoping for classroom sets.

I bought the 5-6th grade box last year and it was really good. It had books like the first 3 books of the Legend of the Guardians series and others that my kids really enjoyed reading. There were a few that I doubt any of us would have much use for, but I felt it was worth far more than $50 when I opened the box.

Well, I am a homeschooler so I am going to give it a try. The worst that could happen is that they cancel the order.

last year they had a similar deal. unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
