Sorry, I said Office Depot on the link to OfficeMax. Fixed it. It is a deal at OfficeMax and they accept the Staples external hard drive coupon. |

Anyone know what kind of drives Verbatim uses internal to these things? Are they really variable rate or just 2 different drives possible?

Cmon man.. Competitor's coupon is always ymmv. If people were to post every deal with coupon combination, specially ymmv deals like these, slickdeals will need server storage larger than Facebook and YouTube combined....

does staples pricematch? they have the similar drive at $109, if you can have staples price match it to $79.99 and use $25 off $75 and maybe $20 of external drive?

Not sure how it is YMMV when I went to three different stores and was told it was their policy to accept competitor coupons. I guess a 1TB external for 59.99 + tax is a bad deal? Tough crowd. Trying to help people out here, but if people are going to make comments like this as though I am putting a burden on the site, f it then. Even if it is YMMV, I said that is based on the Staples coupon in the title, couldn't have been more clear. If you get the coupon honored, it is a decent deal. For me, I'd rather not jump through hoops other Slickdealers seem to actually enjoy. Print out a coupon and taking it into the store is super easy. Thumps Up! |

well you could always buy a $50 OM gift card ($10 bonus rewards next month) and pay with that on top of that too.. I'm thinking hard about this one.. I only need $55 to get another $10 and max out my rewards for the year..
