Lowes.com $10 off $50 and 10% coupon codes (slightly YMMV)

So, yesterday I was building an order at Lowes.com, for free store pick-up, and started searching around for coupon codes. The only one that I found that worked was a 15 digit number, for 10% off (no minimum purchase). Unfortunately, it was a single-use coupon, and when I went to complete the order today, it was unavailable.

That's when I started playing with the numbers. Figuring they were single-use, I tried incrementing the last digit by one. That prompted the same error message: "this code has already been redeemed on Lowes.com"

Jackpot.

When I incremented by a couple more digits, I obtained a working 10% off coupon code.

When I incremented a couple of the earlier digits, I obtained a working $10 off $50 coupon code.

Here are the patterns that worked for me:

Higher increments for the 10% off don't seem to work - try decrementing the earlier numbers by 1 to generate more.

Do like I did, and break your pick-up orders into as many orders just over $50 as possible (to maximize the % off of the $10 off $50 coupons) and apply a 10% off coupon to the rest.

Or, do like I did, and experiment with incrementing different digits to see if you can find even better discounts.
