I have found most UPSes use single or multiples of the APC RBC2 replacement battery. APC buys the same aftermarket batteries you can and they just put stickers on them. On your next APC battery pull the label off and you will most likely see that brand being sold on ebay and the like. If you buy 4 or more RBC2 batteries you can usually get them down to $15 each shipped. Look for Gruber Power Services on ebay. They have their own website but are more competitive with their pricing on ebay.

I do not recommend CyberPower UPSes. I have two server grade CyberPower UPS only last about 3 years. I have APC units that are 10+ years old and have been with my employer longer than I have. Stick with APC if you get a deal or willing to pay the premium. TrippLite is another brand that is reputable and most often a better value than APC. Our TrippLite on-line UPS still chugging along after 3 years.

btw, batts for ups's are also often fakes. I bought some BB brand batteries (high end'ish name brand for lead acid cells) and even though the photo and ad text said b&b, the vendor shipped junk knockoffs to me.

Sure it was one of the Pure Sine Wave models (with "PFC," not AVR, in the model number?) The regular CP1350AVRLCD seems to go on sale more often, at lower prices.

Gruber is a very reputable company and the only place I buy replacement batteries from. I had 10+ Belkin UPSes back when they made them. Every single one of them failed under warrant and almost every single warranty replacement failed. Belkin stop processing my warranties and at the time no longer sold UPSes.

I'm pretty sure it was the 1500 PFC model that was on sale at this price a couple weeks ago. I was sad I missed it too haha.

Yeah it was the pfc, I have a deal alert setup for the entire PFC line. I hesitated on the 1500 because I wanted one of the lower models. By the time I said, to heck with it I'll get it, it was sold out.

What are you using for Deal Alert search term(s)? I'm finding them a little tricky. Sometimes getting far too many matches, or missing the deal.

I understand that 1500 model may have been at the current price of 1350 model, but, honestly, I do not see much difference between the two models, besides 90w more on 1500 model. In fact, I believe that is the only difference. Truth to be told if I had a choice between the 2 models for the same price each, I would indeed buy 1500 one, but I do not feel bad/sad for buying 1350 model. This should be more than enough for my needs and PURE SINE WAVE (oh yeah...)

"pure sine wave", "cyberpower", and all the individual model numbers for the pfc series. "Cyberpower" might yield some junk results in there. If I really want something I'll say no thumbs. I probably get 2-5 emails a day, but I have probably have 30 deal alerts setup. The only time I get flooded is if I forget to delete the ones that the contest sign up adds.
