Kitchenaid Professional 600 Mixer, $109 at Kohls with PM and AR. Possibly $86
Deal is Dead. Enjoy your mixers. Don't forget to spend your Kohls Cash. The PM would still work, but the rebate expires in another week, and the Kohls Cash is gone, as is the 30% (unless they start a new one).
First time posting a deal so bear with me on this. This is specifically for the KP26M1X mixer, but may apply to others as well.
I have been hunting for a mixer for a while and have finally come up with the best deal for it I have seen. I got a coupon in the mail today with a red "yes pass" that offered 20% off of everything in the store. On the back it gives a code of Santa20 for use online. I am not sure if you could just tell that to them in store and have it work. On top of that they offer $10 in kohls cash for every $50 you spend.
First, Kohls has the Professional mixer for $399 (LINK [kohls.com])
I visited the store and asked them to price match amazon.com which has it for $279.99 (LINK [amazon.com]) They had no problem price matching it on the spot.
After that I used a 20% off coupon I recieved in the mail. This brought it down to $223.99.
I also applied for a Kohls charge card in my transaction, which took off another 15% to 190.39.
Minus that is the $50 rebate (LINK) [kohlscorporation.com], $24 for refusing the free magazine subscription (its on the fine print of the rebate form to request a check for $24), and I got $30 in Kohls cash. Add all that up before tax and it totals $86.39 before tax. Or 116.39 without the Kohls cash
If you prefer to not apply for a Kohls card this is still a great deal and the total ends up at $109.99 because the Kohls cash increases to $40. Without the Kohls cash it is 149.99
Pics of receipts to follow when I get home tonight.
Update 12/13: There is a 30% off code for current Kohls cardholders (GIFTS4ALL). 279.99 -30% = $195.99. Minus the $50 rebate, $24 magazine, and $30 KC puts you at $91.99. Find something for $5 to add to your purchase to up your KC to $40 for a little bit more savings. Thanks CSBFB73 for mentioning it and GREGPAYER for the details. I am also attaching screen grabs of target and amazon for price matching purposes.
Update 12/16 Target.com is now Out-of-stock.
Update 12/18. Lots of people don't read the entire thread, so thanks to Dclive (who posted this in the Wiki), I am adding this to the OP. I edited it slightly, but credit goes to Dclive.
1. Walk into your local Kohl's at 11:30 pm or so. Do not call.
2. Show them the Amazon.com printout of the $279 mixer. Tell them you want to pricematch.
3. Buy a few extra things you need (ie buy $7 worth of things) - this will net you another $10 in Kohl's cash.
4. Tell them you have a discount code of GIFTS4ALL. They'll give you another 30% off.
5. Buy it with your Kohl's card or cash or your credit card; it doesn't matter. (Be aware that the 30% off coupon is intended for Kohl's charge card holders only and the store may refuse to allow the coupon unless you put some or all of the purchase on your Kohl's card. At that point, you next best option is to use a 20% off coupon (tell them discount code SANTA20).
6. The receipt will be printed with full details on how to do the extra $50 rebate and the additional $24 magazine rebate; there is no need to ask about these in the forums, just read the rebate.
7. The cashier will give you your $40 in Kohls cash that is valid after Christmas.
I changed #3 to say only $7 in extra items (279.99 mixer plus $7 extra, minus 30% =$200.89 to get just over the $200 mark for $40 in Kohls cash.
I added the 20% off discount code as a backup in step #4 and #5
I added a #7 about how the kohls cash is recieved.
Be nice, be firm, don't accept "No PMs" for an answer.
