Staples is offering extra 10% on HP ink & toner to Rewards members for a year.

I just receive that by e-mail.

This can be stacked with other reward offers including the Double/Double (20% reward on ink and $4 per recycling) deal going on right now.

If you have not done the generic HP recycling deal, it is a good time to take advantage of it through 2/15/2012. This give you $10 per generic HP cartridge recycling (limit 3) with any HP ink purchase. Participation of this generic HP recycling offer may be required to make you eligible for this 10% off deal for 1 full year.

I got this today but I am questioning if this really applies to ALL Rewards members or ONLY those who have done the generic ink recycling deal. It was sent specifically to the email account I have associated with my Rewards account. I also got an email a month ago informing of this promo as well as a special card via snail mail with these discount benefits. Yes, this stacks with the double double promo.

For the generic, the cheapest is an HP 564 which is around $10 before discount. For the $4 per cart you must spend >= $50 OOP after all coupons and discounts to qualify.

Which deal? If you mean the generic HP recycling, the cheapest HP ink is 564 black for $9.99 before 10% off.

What path did you take to get there? If I click on the link in your OP, I get to the web page. I can also get there via the link in my email. I am not saying it isn't for all members, but this was specifically sent to me prior for the generic deal. Did you do the generic deal? I did the generic deal and yes I also see the discount when logged in.

Well, we would need to have someone who did NOT do the generic to log into Staples.com and see if they got they get the 10% discount to confirm who this applies to. They would need to have their Rewards account tied to their Staples.com account.

I did the generic promo 10/4. I got the email qualifying me for the 10% discount sometime in mid-November. I did the $4 cart promo in-store on 11/27 and 12/1. Got the discount both times. I presume you used your rewards number when purchasing.

I did the generic promote in October, but I did not receive this 10% off promotion e-mail until today. I did another generic promote with a different account on last Saturday, but I did not receive this e-mail yet. So it may be true that this offer is only for those participated in the generic recycling program.

I changed the wording in the OP to reflect this.
