Verizon Galaxy Nexus 2 Year Renewal $299 + tax with 1 Month Free YMMV

First time posting a deal, so please bear with me.

Verizon Wireless is offering 1 month of service for free with the purchase of a new phone with a 2 year contract renewal (I do not know if this works for new customers).

This means the Galaxy Nexus will run you $299 + tax, but you will get your next month of service free. This sounds okay, however, this also works if you are on a family plan, the entire account is free for the next month.

How it worked out for me: ($299 + tax) - $180.86* = ~$120 + original tax
(180.86 was my monthly payment for a family plan of 4)

Keep in mind this is not an online deal, you will have to call a Verizon Wireless representative [(800) 922-0204] to get this deal, just mention renewing a 2 year contract and get a month free of service.

If anyone has any additional information, please post. I do not know when this deal ends. Hope this helps some of you all out!
