Pretty much, except Japan didn't expect that we had weaponry that would emasculate them in about 3 seconds.

As much as Iran likes to talk tough, there's enough people running that country that would like to not get turned into radioactive dust particles.

correct, and we get that, although many don't...but looks like IAEA is going to Iran next week (just saw it on news), hopefully that will clear things up, again... but you'll see a different reason to be in the area...probably Syria, or Libya, or even Iraq again...we'll just wait and see..

this goes along the argument of how the statement of a regime/land being annihiated is translated... I still favor the notion that its the regime they speak of, but its debateable... but the fact that the IAEA wasn't allowed to enter a specific military area which haulted the proceedings isn't in my favor, not sure what the NPT states about not having to allow groups into certain military bases, just as no one outside the gov't is allowed to enter area 51...so its a standstill for now...

Netanyahu gave a speech at the Israeli get-together yesterday. He sure is pushing hard for the U.S. to whack Iran.

Oh, though he did briefly mention how a peaceful solution would be better. ...but even if there's proof Iran isn't working on nuclear weapons, Netanyahu and the war drums beaters won't believe them anyway, so what's the difference.

A fight with Iran ain't going to be the relative cakewalk Iraq has been.
