Not bad in spite of 7% NJ tax and having to find a home for the camera
The deal was luke warm without the 10% off but now I am going to bite and find a home for the camera... Wish NJ didn't bend me over on 7% sales tax -- but we have to feed Gov Christie (he needs to start trimming the fat)... Also don't forget to get your 4% of fatwallet or rebates/credits through discover/Amex... Ever discount counts, especially this time of year... |

Better price than last time(2 weeks ago, same combo, a little more savings), still too much for me(don't need another point and shoot camera). Great if you need both, its a quality monitor. You would be lucky to get $100 out of the camera if selling it off.

I think I am going to have to bite on this. I would like to replace my old 2005FPW with a 24" monitor and wouldn't mind replacing my just as old Canon SD600.
BTW, it looks like the coupon code can be used for just the monitor making it a little over $296 + tax. Camera is definitely worth the $37. Last edited by john1863; 12-16-2011 at 09:08 AM.. |

My monitor should be arriving today. Camera arrived ahead. Already arranged a return for it (camera), via a pre-paid label and everything. They called (!?) to arrange that - wonder if I'll get dinged 15% + return shipping. Anyone know?

I ordered on the 30th of January. Was able to get 2 package deals of the camera with monitor for $778.73.
I looked up the billing and apparently the 2 camera shipped separately from the 2 monitors. So the cameras had their own order number and pricing which was $250.09. The monitors were $528.64. The camera came on the 3rd of February. I called the same day to return. I told them that I tried to call on January 30th to cancel but I was told that they were unable to find my order in the system. Then I was told that I will not have a restocking fee or shipping fee and that they will email me the return slip. So right now it looks like I paid $528.64 total for two u2412m. This is slicker than the $265 deal in early January. Of course ymmv on this. |
