I wonder what internet is like on ships these days. I was on a cruise during the 2004 NFL draft and wanted to check the results. It took me 5+ minutes to get a website to load. This was in an internet cafe. Wonder if there are WiFi these days.

Actually a pretty good deal if you figure the rooms are worth a couple hundred...meaning you get 2 people on a 4 night cruise for $349 all taxes fees included...........but still some unknowns like what kind of hotel you will get, if you will be blacked out, and how much upgrades will cost (because being in those interior rooms boxed in is more like torture than vacation)....
i always wanted to reenact the titanic scenes though...

Anyone ever had experience with that travel company Vacation Tour & Travel Inc?

BBB shows C+ rating with 74 complaints in last 3 years.

And then I read this article which makes me very skeptical of them...

Don't forget people, it includes 2 hotel nights and all taxes, fees covered. Unheard of. Usually when you book a cruise, prices are BEFORE taxes and fees.
Please note that it says port fees are included, not all fees. You probably will still be on the hook for the auto-billed $10/per person/per day shipboard gratuities. There is also the possibility of a per day fuel surcharge being tacked on as well if they choose to reinstate it between now and when you cruise.

This is a terrific deal when you really think about it. It comes down to costing $275 per person. That's very cheap. For anyone who hasn't cruised, this is a terrific opportunity to get your feet wet. I didn't cruise till about 7 years ago (I'm now in my 30's) and I so wish I had sooner. It's a great experience, and a terrific time. Just be prepared to add about 5+ pounds during your trip. The food is not only very good, but it's included, and it's everywhere. From buffets for breakfast lunch and dinner, to ice cream machines, 24 hour pizza stands, and sit down dinners where you can order two entrees and as many apitizers as you can stand. It's truly a gluttonous trip. haha.

Really would like to know the unknowns before purchasing the voucher.

How much is a room ungrade? (I don't want a interior room)

What are the choices of hotels?

How much do additional passengers cost?

Damn...why is Charleston not one of the departure ports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would assume cause that we only have 1 ship whereas there are multiple cruises out of miami. Still looks like a great deal to go cruising and visit miami.

Oh c'mon...

If you've never been on a cruise before, being in an interior room is fine. It can be a little disorienting because when you wake up in the morning, and a clock isn't visible, you have no idea what time it is.

I was only in the room for marital reasons and when I passed out at one in the morning every night.

Best time of my life...

Is this associated with Priceline? Priceline Cruises (like all other "big shop" cruise departments as from Expedia, Orbitz...) works with a travel agency that specializes on cruises and throws in free hotel nights typically.

It says you get a redemption code w/i 48 hours. So, I figure, I'll use the code to see all the redemption details, and if any issues, can cancel well before 30 days expires.
