Deal Details

Just got off the phone w/ listener care after trying to get the 6/$25 deal, which is for existing subs only.

I was told the best deal they have for new radios is: 6 months XM Select for $29.99

Taxes and fees are extra, all in all i paid $35.49 for it, and I'm listening to my radio now. Great deal for me, since I never see any deals for new subs.

Call up: 1-866-635-5020 ask for 6mo. for $30 - you can chose to auto renew or just do 6mo. one time.

EDIT: if you get shot down, then try 1-800-443-6454

Has anyone else tried to get this deal? I was going to call tonight and wondered how successful others have been. TIA.

My subscription auto-renewed in Nov, and received a credit card bill for $165. It was the full year standard rate. Called tonight, told them I could not afford a $165 bill for it but remembered a promotion that came through email or mail for $77. Said if I could not get this promotion I would have to cancel. No problems, and got one year for $77 plus fees. I ended up getting a credit for $60 on my credit card since I had to pay the one month at $15.

Another alternative if they are stubborn about the $30 for 6.

You can push them to give you XM Premier for 30 dollars for 6 months. I did it last month as a new sub.

Thanks so much for posting this.
I had a falling out with a close family member and I was under that person's account so I called up and was able to set up my own account now for half off paying upfront for a year.

I just hope next year they may offer deals for current subscribers. I guess we shall wait and see...

I dread dealing w/SiriusXM customer service, they are the worst.

Sad to say that dealing with them via Social Networking is the most efficient way of getting stuff done.

I'm sad that Sat radio sucks if you actually want to hear good QUALITY music..their bit rates are sooo low.

I had an old XM radio that has not been active for years. I called and asked about the 6 months for $30 for the radio. After checking with her manager I was given 6 months for $25 plus fees for a total of $27.50. I do have a sirius account for a car radio.
