obviously this is not a slickdeal, but at the same time you can't preorder the tablet/keyboard dock anywhere. only other place is amazon with delivery estimates end of jan/early feb. So thank you very much for posting this. this tablet will be hard to find for months.

The question is if the Jan 7th date is accurate. Is there reason to believe that Gamestop will be getting stock of these before Amazon? Or perhaps Gamestop is giving an optimistic estimate while Amazon is giving a conservative one, If that's the case you can save the $20+ Gamestop is charging for shipping. Probably the best thing would be to order from both and cancel the one that ships last.

good point givemeabreak2, that is true you never do know which date is accurate. specially with these asus prime tablets, the reason im trusting gamestop on this is because they did come through on their first set of preorders.

This will be on sale fast now that Hasbro is suing Asus before its release because of trademark violations. I thought Asus bought rights to use the name, apparently NOT! I don't think Asus can get out of this mess. Might as well rename it to a plain old boring Transformer II before it actually comes out of shelves.
