Guitar Bundles (Fender or Peavey) for Rocksmith (or any other use) for $99 - Best Buy Midnight Sale (Online) tonight Midnight EST, 11pm CST, 9pm PST

The Peavey Rockmaster is a decent kit, but they were $30.99 a couple weeks back and then they went down to $22.99!! Target was blowing them out and I got two for my kids for Rocksmith.

Not sure if there is something better at the $99 price point but they are decent kits. The guitar is VERY playable stays in tune ok and was decently set up out of box.

I remember that deal. I forgot it was the Peavey one, though.

Yup! The deal got NO love at all from most SD'ers at $30.99 and then everyone went crazy and was upset when they missed it at $22.99!!

Luckily, I had bought two at the first price and then called in for an adjustment! Slick indeed!

Yeah I managed to get one for $28 with 2 year warranty.

Probably NOT as sweet as you think because the fine print on those warranties only give you replacement value at what you PAID so you will never be able to find a suitable replacement guitar for the price.

I went through that when I bought a Logitech Harmony 720 for $38 clearance at Target. Got it home all proud of myself and read the fine print and then took the warranty back for refund on next trip. Hope this helps ya!

Not that big of a deal it was only like 5 dollars extra lol I have a Dean Guitar with a real warranty so it wouldn't matter if this one messed up.

I get ya, but there's no reason to pay for a warranty that doesn't actually protect you. You could return it at Target on your next visit. $5 is $5...

I actually picked up the Fender one before i left work today. It was already down to 99. And they have the game for 60. 160 bucks for a full bundle plus you get the amp with it. Not bad.

starcaster is a joke, should in no way be associated with Fender, even worse than Squire, and its real hard to be worse than Squire

and the other one was <$25 at one point and I willing passed on the deal

Well guys, I bought Rocksmith for $50 and I got TWO of the Peavey packs for less than $50 shipped!

ZagsElite...I agree with your assessment of the Starcaster kit but unless you already owned a better guitar you missed out on the Peavey deal. It TRULY is far better than I expected at that price point. Both my boys, 19 and 11 were pretty happy with them and I wished I had bought one as a future project item! The Silver sparkle finish was FAR nicer than I expected too!

I'm no instrument expert but I think just about any new guitar with strings that plays through an amp is a killer deal for <$30 especially for a beginner.

EXACTLY! With all the times people have gone nuts over $30 and $40 Rockband & Guitar HEro games and people CONSTANTLY posting $79-99 guitar packs, HOW is a COMPLETE pack with EVERYTHING you need other than a gig bag for less than $30 shipped NOT a Slick deal?

should clarify, never said it wasn't a good deal (despite what I think about the quality of the guitar), it was cheap enough for sure, it would have just looked like a joke in my lineup of guitars, and wouldn't be worth my effort to sell and make 30-40 bucks

but the main point is I woudn't touch it for the $99 in the op
