Hilton Honors Instant gold

I found a Crowne Plaza hotel in Perth, Australia for only 35,000 points a night. Since I'll get 80,000 points, I'll have 10,000 left over to use for another time.
This is definitely better than the Hilton, which would've been 50,000 a night.
Now I don't have to fiddle with getting two different Hilton credit cards and spending over $2000 to get those HHonors Points.

The one thing that would complete my wet dream would be if these frequent flyer programs let your transfer miles between..say...immediate family. That would be simply awesome!

British Airways lets you do that with household accounts.

I wish Hilton &US airways had this though. That would be great.

I was looking at Hilton availability at the various cities that I'd be stopping by..and guess what? Nothing.
Manhattan in September. nothing.Bristol, London,Rome in December. Nothing.

What use is this card?!!!

You can go within the US on AA (especially on short routes for 4,500 miles one-way), to South America, from Brazil to everywhere, or within Australia, with no fuel surcharges.

Same here. I got matched by Best Western, Priority Club and Marriott. I've used the latter two extensively, and have no plans on going to Hilton anytimesoon.

How did you get Marriott to match?

Just figured it out and am looking at Gold Status right now.


here's how it's done:


Step 1. Create the Account [hilton.com].


Step 2. Go to Fake Name Generator [fakenamegenerator.com] and create a fake (but valid) address.


Step 3. Go to your profile [hilton.com] and change your address to the australian one. Choose "AP-Area pacific" as the state.


Step 4. Go to this website [elfqrin.com] to generate a fake credit card that starts with the digits 411945-
under “Generate a Credit Card Number” Choose Visa- Chase Manhattan Bank
and a random credit card number should pop up in this format 1234 xxxx xxxx xxxx. Replace that with – "4119 45xx xxxx xxxx" and hit generate. It will create a VALID credit card number for you.

Step 5. Go to the Hilton Gold Status Landing page [hiltonhhonors.com]


Step 6. Input that credit card number that you generated. Enter the Captcha and hit Verify.
It should be verified right away. The credit card number that I generated worked on the first try.


Step 7. Log out. then Log back in. Verify the Gold Status. (in the left hand column under "Account Summary". Go to the address section and reedit it to your actual address.

Step 8. Smile.

Anyone able to do this now with these instructions? I tired entering the credit card number generated with Visa Chase Manhattan Bank and starting with 4119 45 but it gives me an error. Any know how I can still get gold status?
