Hilton Honors Instant gold

So Anyone know how to extend it?

I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this is a repeat q, but how can I get Gold if I already have an account? Is it possible? TIA!

I did this a few weeks ago (first week of Feb) and I now have Gold status. So, it must still work!

well, i signed up for a new account(new email) about 1.5 months ago. Received my Gold card in the mail today and it expires March, 2015. I also was able to transfer my original Gold card points to my new account!! NICE!!

How did you do this? My gold status expires at the end of this month. Also have a lot of stays (15 days) coming up with Hilton. I thought I did this correctly last month but I just called Hilton and they said my Gold status expires at the end of the month.

Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I did what one of the poster in this thread said to follow.....I am at work, so just read the last few pages. You will need to start a ENTIRE New account, THEN merge your old one.

Does this still work? Did anybody get Gold status in recent weeks? I just followed the procedure but status stays blue. I registered new account. Thanks.

I created a new account and got gold to extend it. Now, I want to merge. Which account do I need to be signed into in order to merge them correctly to retain gold from one account and all the points from the other?

I get "Invalid Registration - Please contact the Hilton HHonors Service Center for assistance. " , when I try to login after entering the credit card number for verification. Anybody else get this error?

The address that I updated still says country USA, address is the one from australia and the state is "AP-Area pacific". Should I change country to Australia? If I do so, I don't get a state field.

same question, one acct I have points and no status and new account I have status .. which account to merge from?

Merge the old INTO the new.

Just as an update

I lost my Gold status as of 3/31/13.

I have created a new account, fastracked it to Gold and was planning to merge

However, i took my old account (Blue again) and did the fast track and it worked. It took a few minutes to update but now my main account is Gold again..
Just a thought for you losing your Gold status soon..

I had already activated instant gold by following the.J129's instructions, but my Gold status expired. I repeated the instructions and it worked perfectly.
