Ha I know...I've had decent luck over the years with hotel deals targeted towards others...looks like Hilton is covering themselves by making you pay for your stay with the Infinite Card to get the points.

No you don't. This is to get Gold status - the perks (breakfest, internet whatever) and bonus points when you do spend. The offer of additional points is not what this exploit is for. I posted that as it shows that it went through.

Basically this is just an upgrade for something that you are already paying for.
