Not sure how much of a deal this is unless you WANT the GOW graphics on the case and controllers.

Its a slim + a hard drive + an extra controller + gears of war 3.

$125 + $80 + $35 + $20 (used) = $260.

Them prices! where do we get them? Link please! Even with your breakdown, OP's post is still cheaper, and they all come in one box. No need to look around and find them parts you listed with those incredibly low price.

My point isnt that this is a bad deal, but that its not a particularly good one. It was stupidly priced at $300-400. Its just an okay deal at $250.

I bought a "used like new" 250gb from amazon for $71. Its one that had busted packaging and as far as I can tell was never opened.

Walmart and Amazon have had the controllers for under $35 off and on for weeks. I just bought one 'used like new' for $25.

So its an OKAY deal if you can get it, but I strongly doubt any of you flippers are going to make more than a couple of bucks off of it and you can have easily thrown together a similar setup for the same or less just by looking at the deals over the last week.

Oh I see, you must be from the backwards universe where buying something you can routinely buy at a similar or lower price becomes 'special'.

I have an xbox 360 slim with two controllers, a 250GB hard drive, a charge base, and three games. I paid about the same price as this deal. I can buy all of those parts for about the same price right now. Which still makes it the about the same as this deal.

So if I can buy all the stuff on existing deals and end up in the same place, what makes this a special deal again?

Oh, and bestbuy doesnt price match costco. Costco produces very few print ads, and will not give product pricing over the phone even to a member. So if you made it happen, you had a receipt and a very generous best buy manager and a costco employee that wasnt following policy. There is one guy who reports success on the PM. I'll be surprised if there is more than one or two who manage to get it.

If Best Buy doesn't price match Costco look at the link in my previous thread idiot! The difference is it's a Gears of War Bundle a lot of people have wanted, but it was too expensive to buy. Your routine of buying crap from 5 different places is more time consuming and trouble than it's worth and you still don't have the cool factor of the GOW design, which may not mean much to you, but it does to others.
