It only states that: Surcharge may be added for 3-D and IMAX Films. No special engagements," which is what is on all my gold passes from AMC.

i'm guessing from no special engagements, that it's silver tickets, with special engagements being new movies

That is incorrect. Special engagements are exactly that: special showings in your local area of shows such as Opera performances, or one time-only events.

I have gold tickets from AMC and they state that they are not valid for special engagements either. Please get your facts straight before posting.

Yea, you're actually probably right, I had only quoted my local box office employee but after checking your link and contacting AMC, I have come to the conclusion that these tickets are indeed Silver, not Gold.

I am assuming they are silver, but no restrictions may mean no time restrictions so they could be gold. Very abstract.
