FREE Fitbit wireless activity tracker when you purchase an Xbox 360 Console with Kinect bundle and one qualifying Kinect game btw 12/25/11-1/23/12

On Jan. 20, 2012, I purchased one of the eligible xbox kinect consoles and one of the required kinect games listed on the rebate offer from an eligible retailer. The rebate offer stipulates that both items must be purchased on the same receipt and a copy of that receipt must be mailed in with an e-submission form (you fill out online and print), plus the original proof of purchase/upc code cut out from the bottom of the xbox console. I have fulfilled all of those requirements and I'm ready to send in the rebate form, however, the game I purchased doesn't work! I can return it to the retailer, but I'm afraid that will void the rebate! Does anyone know if microsoft/young america will still process the rebate if the game has been returned? Do they even look that far into it? No where on the rebate requirements does it say you have to submit a upc code from the game, only the console. Thanks to anyone who can help.
