Chase Sapphire or Chase Freedom CC?

I already have the Chase Sapphire CC, not the one w/ the fee. I heard that the Chase Freedom might be better for someone who isn't interested in the travel aspect of the Sapphire. This is not my main CC, but my 2nd or 3rd choice, depending on what incentives are going on w/ whatever card. I would rather earn cash back, and I hear that there are different higher percentages at different times of the year. Currently I cash in my points for gift cards at a rate of $1=1 point. Seems that anything else (merchandise, travel) is a rip off. Does anybody have the Chase Freedom and recommend it over the Sapphire? I have to admit that when I actually do call and try to talk to somebody w/ questions about my account, there is a human at the other end w/o having to go through dozens of prompts, is the service similar w/ the Freedom? TIA!
