Typo above in OP: The 3 CPU's eligible are i3 2100, i5 2500k and i7 2600k.
The $50 off mobo bundle deal is applied for i3 2100 only, not i3 2125
The $50 discount will apply when ANY LGA 1155 motherboard is in your cart along with ANY of the 3 CPUs listed in the OP. This is despite the ad implying that the i5 or i7 needs to be combined specifically with a Z68 or P67 motherboard. For instance, add a cheap H61 board and the i5 2500k to your cart and you will get this discount. SLICK!

sounds good.. the ad says w/ ANY 1155 mobo
so if i buy an i3-2100 and a $70 asus nmobo thats on that list on the side i get the mobo for $20??? |

yeah, that's the gist of it...I suggest you go for the $80 one though if you like asus since it has hdmi and dvi... or the MSI h67 for $88, you get moreasata port and extra raid function Last edited by sufo.exe; 01-02-2012 at 03:30 AM.. |

naw, cheap htpc build
gonna do the h61 separate video card browseing right now to see if they got any deals on hdd or ssd --- i think the ad is kinda misleading because i think its specific mobo/cpu bundles added to cart for pickup and no sign of discounts |

I have been waiting for months for this deal to return. Used it earlier last year to pick up an i3-2100/Z68 build for my htpc. Coupled with an ssd, it is FAST! Now time to redo my Windows Home Server with the 2100 and Intel board. Just a heads up, you won't see a price adjustment in the cart for these deals, you just see the price of the motherboard reduced by $50.

Looking to build my first HTPC. Don't want a separate video card. My understanding is that I should be looking at the 2105 instead of 2100 because of the different integrated GPUs. Can someone confirm?

go with the 2125 for 10 bucks more and the integrated hd3000 vs the 2000 in teh 2100 is slightly better. if you going to use integrated graphics. |
