Are the 7600D or 7500D compatible with 2 Stage Furnaces ? Thanks.

Here's a link for the 7500D Owners manual:

I put up 3 3M-50's at my work and love them. Wi-Fi Enabled make programming a breeze.

trying to decide if this is worth it for me. I have a 2-story loft with central air/heat but the heating is atrocious because the ducts are up at the ceiling level and it never sinks. easily a 15 degree difference up/down such that I always have to crank it upstairs. My place has an old manual thermostat.

I have the 7500D (non-touch) version of this thermostat. I was going to get the "touch", but the last damn thing I need is another touch device to clean fingerprints and smudges from. Also, the 7500D doesn't keep degrees set at the half (68.5 degrees) and switch on all the time (like most reviewers on amazon and lowes complained about on the 7600D).

I don't notice any finger prints on my touch model. I got it figuring the next potential home buyer would think it was cool Wink

Sounds like you need a large ceiling fan to circulate the air. But if you are renting, just a few strategically placed fans would probably help.
