My new favorite earphones. I've owned:
V-Moda Bass Freq x2 - sounded great but the left speaker would always die in a few months
Skullcandy Ink'd - yuck
MEElectronics M9 & M9P - lasted longer than the V-Moda's but the wire got hard and brittle and cracked on both

I have the M9 and these CX200's. IMO, the M9 is a good, solid, clear set of earbuds, but the CX200's are better. My M9's haven't cracked on me just yet, but on a day-to-day basis like the gym and whatnot, the CX200's are better - I listen to rock, hip hop, r&b, & some house and the CX200's are great in all those genres. I would recommend these.. especially for $15.

ps. Agree on the Ink'd headphones!

The CX200 sounds a little better and has cleaner louder bass than the M9/M9P. I listen to Vocal Trance, Trance, and Dubstep. The wires on the CX200 are matte, very flexible and grippy while the M9/M9P wires are glossy and slick.

The M9/M9P wires did harden and eventually crack from using them 50+ hours per week, but I feel like I got very good use out of them.
The M9 lasted a little under a year, maybe 8-10 months which the wire cracked a few inches below the driver and the M9P lasted 11 months which the wire cracked just below the mic. I also really liked the little clip on the wire too.

Since you just got your M9's get as much use out of them, you'll be happy as they sound good (at least to me they do) and are pretty durable for the money (I got the M9 for $19.99 back in Aug 2010 & M9P for $9.99 back in Jan 2011). If you need a spare set in case you leave your M9's at home, CX200 would be a great competitor (depending on durability since I just got mine xmas eve). Again, I do like the $14.99 CX200 better but I just hope they last as long as the M9/M9P.

I've always liked Sennheiser products and for $15 (free S/H), why not!? Thanks and repped.
