Nice price. I think I picked mine up a while back from Newegg for the same price. I actually just had to RMA mine back to Crucial.
It ran fine for about 6 months and then my PC would randomly start rebooting back to the BIOS screen and hang until I powered the PC down and back on. I could never get it to work correctly after that. I still would buy it again as they seem to be one of the more reliable drives. The amount of failures are small compared so some other drives. |

I actually have a C300 64 GB drive that I've been meaning to upgrade for a while now. Had the drive for a year now runs flawlessly. Was about to pull the trigger last night for the M4 128 GB before the price drop, glad I waited.

Isn't the 120GB Corsair Force GT a better deal?

Prices for SSDs should keep on dropping... I bought mine from Newegg for $185 (128GB SSD) like a while back ago.

Crucial M4 is the best SSD drive around. forget about benchmark and all. Crucial M4 does not have the problem of the sandforce 3. Even if people are claiming that they have actually fix this problem i would be carefull cause this'll be your boot drive which is the one you want to avoid any problems. Crucial M4 is the #1 (with intel) in reliability. 99% would be crash, blu screen problem free. Corsair GT is a little faster but remember all sandforce use compression and decompression to achive such speed, while M4 don't. |
