Reminds me of the Stephen King book The Langoliers, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Langoliers, which I only saw the movie of years ago when I was a kid.

Free is always good, thanks!

Kind of...but this is one of the most popular Christian book series of all time. If you are not into that, you will probably not enjoy it.

Religion or not this is just a horrible book. It's almost certainly made worse by the ham-fisted Christianity stuff thrown in, but as a book it's just not good.

Blasphemer!! If it has our Lord and Savior in it, it must be good! If you don't like the book, I hope you like being "left behind".

Yeah, obviously being on the NYT best sellers list and selling over 20 million copies is the #1 sign that it is a "horrible" book. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

BUT BUT BUT they made it into a movie with that kid from an 80's sitcom who completely failed at acting in the real world but he's a "christian" so he's good guy....

yep as a book this really is horrible but the movie is comical in the same way I love watching those made for syfy movies

One word: Twilight.

Just because it sells does not mean it's a good book.

Based on the Amazon reviews, it sure looks like the everyone who likes it is also into the religious aspect.

The Bible is a best seller too, but it's not because it's an interesting read.
