How does this compare to a 55" Panasonic GT series?

Reviews for TV @ Costco [costco.com] but no direct link to buy it though.

Considering that the GT is second only to the VT series and the EX is third behind the NX and HX series (third if you count HX XBR) you might say the EX is not 'as good' as the GT but it's more complicated than that (i.e. the merits of LCD vs Plasma).

Fyi, I just purchased a 60" Panasonic GT series from Frys.com and the picture is really suck compare to Samsung.

Are you asking if it includes the wifi adapter? There's a good chance since other Sonys sold by Costco and Sam's Club in the past included one while the ones sold elsewhere didn't. If that's the case, consider this TV $100 cheaper than elsewhere. Maybe the OP can chime in and say whether or not it was included. It really doesn't matter too much to me because I got in on a deal a year back on the previous model (KDL52EX701 I believe) and have been happy with it.

Wifi adapter is not included with TV. Adapter is available for $68 at amazon.com
Lowest price anywhere else is $1618 so it is about $400 cheaper.

I'm not a big fan of this tv. For $1200 you can get a LG 55" led with 3D + built in interwebs and 3d glasses. If this was the gorilla glass version, I'd pick one up tomorrow.
