the bezel on this thing makes it look like its from the stone age, pass!

I have heard of people passing due to 720P or only 60Hz but this is the first time I have seen someone pass due to a bezel. It is the equivalent of passing on a hot model because of her feet. Put some socks on that bezel and you will be fine.

You couldn't be more wrong, why do you think TV makers are moving towards smaller bezels? it's what consumers want, this is clearly a late 2008/2009 model and looks like garbage. For me personally, i would need two and use them as computer monitors...now think of 2 of these things next to eachother, the bezels would create a god damned foot of black space..ok now im just rambling on (you're wrong broskis)

"It's what consumers want": Personal opinion (and I can't tell you how sick I am of politicians and people in general who have the balls to blurt aloud that they speak "for all American people/consumers", etc. But I digress)

There is no such thing as a model with ugly feet; just girls that wish they could have been models but couldn't because they had ugly feet.

BTW: the TV would be great for a patio or garage TV.

i have a older version of this tv(40FT1U) which i got for 399 , two years back on amazon. its a excellent tv, with great contrast color. sure it does not have a lot of features, but it has a great picture quality and audio is on par with most flat tv (meaning crap audio). ft1u has only toslink audio out which sucks. but overall, its a great buy. i did not notice that bezel was big until i read a comment on this thread. probably because i was busy watching the tv than bezel.

I dont watch a lot of sports, so i cant differentiate between 60hz and 120 hz( they both look same to my eyes). this tv has replaced my old samsung DLP which conveniently died 3 months after warranty period. Repair estimate was 500 bucks, so i discarded that sammy out and bought this toshiba. good buy.

Well, it's time to put a TV in the bathroom.
