I grabbed a 16gb version for 14$ plus tax iirc as a filler to use NEWCUSTOMER10 at newegg.com. so it cost <6$ shipped. If you were to purchase this item in that way id call it slick, what's the going price on these things less than $20 now right?

The other Kingston drives have been on sale for this price in multiple places lately. This is another form factor they've brought down to the same price. For a name-brand, decent speed drive, this is a good price.

If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it...

Yea you're right, it was PNY. I confused it for the Kingston OD deal a little while back that were also in the neighborhood of $2 each + flat rate shipping, I got in on both and now have 25 drives sitting around. Bottom line, wait for < $3 for a 8gb.
