yeah, the shipping really kills the deal, or at least reduces who it is a good deal for. The TV apparently is really low on the bells and whistles. Cnet wasn't too happy with the tv at all. They also pointed out that it wasn't very bright, so would be hard to watch in a bright room.

So... my interpretation... if you don't need a tv that has any internet abilities, that will be watched in a bright room. And you don't need good built-in sound or any of the ports that it doesn't have. And saving $80 is critical, this is the TV for you. Cause at $550 plus $70 it is $620, and for $80 more, you can get the LG 50" that will have those bells and whistles (also from best buy, but does have store pickup. But can also be gotten elsewhere for the same price and free shipping)

But... I do still want to thank the poster for posting.
