Help selecting equivalent power adapter
The original power adapter output is rated at 9v .5a 4.5vaI have been trying to find a replacement adapter. I have searched for both .5a and 500ma adapters. Do you have any site recommendations where I can purchase one? Also, I noticed some do not list the va rating. |

You need an adapter with the same connector, the same polarity on the connector, the same voltage, and at least the same current rating (a higher rating is fine, encouraged even). And you need to match whether the original adapter was AC or DC. Your device is presumably DC, if the VA rating is just voltage * current (and since most such adapters are DC).
