Yes, it has the 6750M in it.

In general, any 204 pin DDR3 SO-DIMMs should work. There is mac-specific memory that has been qualified/certified, and it is about the same price or 5-10% more expensive (they usually don't go on sale or have rebates as often as non mac-specific RAM). Some people say macs are more sensitive to bad memory, but if you stick to a good brand it shouldn't be a problem. I've had good experiences with Kingston, and the reviews of Kingston memory on Amazon and Newegg look very good (some of the less expensive brands seem to have poorer quality control).

Pretty good deal then. It gets very confusing with the model numbers for a lot of people, so that probably explains why it gets very little traction on SD.

I'll post the specs on the box when I get back home. I love the deal alerts feature of SD!

BTW, people are expecting an upgrade with a retina display, in case you feel like waiting. Then again, you know how reliable the apple product rumors are.

RAM is RAM. As long as you get the right size (laptop or desktop) and type (DDR3 is the most common now) then it doesn't matter. Macs do not use different RAM than machines that boot windows. They also use the same hard drives, optical drives, processors and gpus. The main parts are all the same, despite what most people tend to think.

Wow OP this is a steal! I currently have the 2.2 i7 February 2011 model and I must say this things a monster. I can imagine how fast this beast is.
