Especially for those of us lucky enough to be in central Texas or those enjoying north Georgia, GT Distributors has used Gen 2 Model 22 (.40cal) Glocks for $289. If you snoop around the site, you'll find that GT is a HUGE LE and Military showroom and distributor. New Glock sales are restricted, but these trade-ins are available to us civilian types.Wink

Even if you're not looking for this Glock, their catalog makes for some fun 'window' shopping. I went to their "Glock-tober Fest" back in the fall...what a collection of tactical goodies they have!!!

You can certainly speak to them about shipping to your FFL(unless those of us who live nearby scarf up all the dealsBig Grin ).

Here you go:

Credit to "Texan2" over at TexasGunTalk for posting there.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Just called them, shipping is $20, which when added with the transfer fee here ($30) basically negates this deal Frown

1) Wonder if they'll ship 2 for $20?

2) Some FFLs will do a 2 fer 1 transfer fee on a single shipment in.

Number of homicides included?
Nope.
Number of self defenses is included however.
Self defense is something New Yorkers are completely unfamiliar with.
They'd rather crawl into a fetal position and assume the victim role.
Nothing makes an armed criminal froth at the mouth more than a willingly unarmed victim.

A bit of an off topic NOOB question, as I have not been following ammo prices, what price should I expect to pay for 40 cal ammo? I know there is a difference between home defense ammo (hollow point) and range ammo, but I just want to make sure I am not getting fleeced by the range on ammo prices.

Target .40 can be had for about $18-$23 for a box of 50, depending on where you shop.

what???? it's a lot cheaper than that unless your shooting hollow points at the range.

several boxes of 50 rounds at www.cheaperthandirt.com for 12-12.50 a box.

They aren't the only place either, Academy has similiar prices as well.

Can anyone with experience give an honest feedback on used pistols? I'm looking to buy a pistol but the price for new ones are a bit beyond my budget so I'm thinking of used ones.

My fear is: used pistols would not to "fire" or "shoot me (explode)" when I try to fire a shot. I know, they sound childish but everything I've bought in my life has always been in the new condition so I thought I'd ask. Thank you in advance.

A lot of used Glocks are LE turn-ins. Overall you're in good shape picking them up - they rarely show noticeable signs of wear besides the holstering area.
