actully no you're wrong, i bought hydrophobia with a coupon i got during the xmas gift pile. after all discounts got the game for $1.50. what i have noticed though is that steam is pricing the daily deal games a little higher than they usually are when they go on a daily deal. i guess they know some people have coupons for them and dont wanna reduce it too much so that it's not too cheap after coupon. regardless, it still came out to the cheapest ive seen it ever when i used the coupon. so i have to pick it up.

Hydrophobia could be different. They are desperately trying to create enough fan base to justify sequels from what I can tell. So they may not mind effectively giving it away.

The two games that I might have used coupons for are LA Noire and Dead Island. When I saw LA Noire on sale for 75% off on the last day, I highly doubt that staking my 50% coupon would do any better in the coming 3 months. So I did a bird in hand decision and bought it. I guess I'll find out if they ever have a better than 50% off on LA Noire before the coupon expire.

Well the single player game seems to just teach you all the styles and weapons, as the game play is boring and boss fights can be annoying.

The multi-player game is much better in my opinion. Multi has 4 modes: deathmatch, team deathmatch, domination, and supremacy. As you earn experience points etc.
But its fun shooting around the map, hovering over enemies, and trying to get locked missiles. Though in domination you have to capture team's turrets, but the time limit seem too long.

Good note on those planning to buy it now, almost worth waiting for 75% off or less in the future The DLC addons I may pickup as anything extra to multi-play would be cool!

I got a coupon for a few random games including that hydrophobia game and they (coupon and discount) did indeed stack making it only like $1.50 for me. It's only a few weeks in to the new year and the coupons are good for a few months. Just be patient.

dam missed out on Front Mission Evolved.. Anyone know if it might come back??

I'm pretty sure "-X% off" is a double negative. Unless the sales result in increased prices, it would be correct to say "X% off". Just sayin...

Thankfully I got Age of Empires 3 Collection for 11 cents during that deal a couple years ago.
