I ran across this flyer in the store while checking stock on a Hitachi Combo Kit (which no one apparently has in stock anymore).
No idea if this is for a limited time or always available.
20% off with the purchase of compressor and 1 Nailer.
30% off with the purchase of compressor and 2 Nailers.
40% off with the purchase of compressor and 3 Nailers.
I purchased the following this morning.
Hitachi 1.1 HP 6-Gallon 145 PSI Electric Pancake Compressor
$189 - $75.60 = $113.40
Hitachi Info/Manual for compressor
Hitachi 4.2 lb. Finishing Pneumatic Nailer
$159 - $63.60 = $95.40
Amazon Info $135.73
Hitachi 2.2 lb. Finishing Pneumatic Nailer
$69.67 - $27.87 = $41.80
Amazon Info $61.98
Hitachi 2 lb. Pneumatic Stapler
$89.97 - $35.99 = $53.98
Amazon Info $85.50
Total for all 4 was $304.58 + Tax
Total for just the 3 Pneumatic Tools on Amazon would be $283.21. So it's like $20 for the Compressor.
I have a 10% mover's coupon at home that I forgot. I asked the cashier if I could have used it and she thought so. I will likely go back after work and have them apply the coupon. I did this previously for a refrigerator purchase. They just return the purchase and then ring everything up again. Or have them apply my military discount.
Total would be $274.12 + Tax w/ movers coupon.
The Compressor is new and there is very little information on it online.
The Finish and Brad Nailers are some of the best made (in this range).
The Stapler generally has good reviews. The few bad ones seem to be because users do not know how to adjust the staplers air pressure to get the proper depth on the staples.
Hitachi Pneumatic tools are considered some of the best.
Just purchased a new home and I need a compressor, finish nailer and brad nailer for projects my wife has already requested...
The 20% makes for a solid deal (below Amazon price) but if you go for the 30% or 40% it's pretty slick (imo).
Edit: BTW the compressor is electric (despite Lowe's product page stating gas).
