Post your approval amount and score/score type here

$5,000 - instant - 728 Experian FICO, 770 Credit Karma
$5,000 - received further review status, called and got approved - 801 FICO, 780 Credit Karma
$6,500 - received further review status, never called, showed up in mail. 726 FICO from Equifax per Discover "Congratulations" letter
$6,500 - instant, but no info on limit. Called, and found out it was 6.5K. TBD FICO (haven't received card/letter yet)
$9,500 - instant on 1/25, no limit initially..checked here [discovercard.com] hours later. 780 Credit Karma

Discover does not approve 2 cards. If you are existing member, then they will offer you to split the credit limit between the cards or close older card if you insist to approve the card with this offer. I got approved by chase for 12.5k and , discover do not approve with new credit limit. So act accordingly to avoid unnecessary credit inquiry on your file.

All I would have done is perpetuated his ignorance. As they say, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". Such is life.....!!!!

Oh and BTW, thanks for nothing. I see that you haven't contributed anything either.

From reading this I don't think I can do this, but if I already have a Discovercard with a balance on it, can I open this one and transfer my first Discovercard balance to the no interest one?
