Falcon chipset 360s have HDMI ports, and while they aren't the best for being RROD-proof, they aren't the worst (Jasper being the only one superior for fat 360s). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox..._revisions
Also, the 360 Arcade was the first one to get the Jasper chipset, so I'd be surprised if it really is a Falcon.
A good amount of reviewers had problems, but BB replaced them with brand new ones.
Falcons are the 3rd revision, Jaspers are 4th and slims are the 5th. They all fail eventually due to lead free soldering.

Square trade for 1 year warranty is $20.
For 2 years it is $30. Not sure if worth it since it will be getting into the new xbox360 slim 4GB price area since we seen it go for $150 range (after giftcard or such). Unless this model is easier to hack then it changes everything. |

It doesn't even have the hard-drive plastic covering like the regular arcade has. Maybe bestbuy is reselling the hard-drive separately? |

People on CL ask more money for their used units around here. And yes, these are "more hackable" than current slims, the latest models of which currently have unhackable drives and are not glitch hackable (RGH, google it if you have to). Not so hot reviews, however. Sounds like bby's refurb qc kinda sucks.

90 Day Warranty for an Arcade... I would pay extra for the slim. Smaller, quieter, cooler etc.
If you do decide to go with this, you can slap a 16gb flash drive in for cheap. |
