Official 2012 MW3 Tourney for 360

Tournament Rules:
1. 4 vs 4 (8 Teams Total)
2. Double Elimination for entire tourny
3. Best 2 out of 3 rounds wins (Race to 2).
4. Finals will be best 3 out of 5.
5. Gametype: TDM(all variations), Domination, Kill Confirmed.
6. Killstreaks will be restricted to: No care packages, no juggernaut and no SPECIALIST
7. Map Restrictions: NONE
8. Camping can't be regulated or restricted but it is looked down on and you will get no respect.
9. Substitutions: If a team is short a player(s) on their scheduled match, they best hope one of the subs is online and willing to play. ALSO, the captain of the opposing team must agree to the sub, in that the sub must be of comparable or lesser skill level. Sub will be messaged and invited into the game. If no sub can be agreed upon and subsequently brought into the game, team plays shorthanded or choses to forfeit.
10. If a team has TWO players that are no shows for a given match, AUTOMATIC FORFEIT.
11. At the start of a match, if players join the WRONG side when starting the match and son't jump over before the ticker counts down, this is grounds for AUTOMATIC RESTART of the round.
12. Not a rule but I encourage everyone to ENABLE video recording. The better to call out campers (with proof) . Also, it's always nice to showcase your glory.
13. A coin flip will determine which team gets to choose map/gametype first. And then alternate from there. If there is no neutral host for this, please be honest guys.

If you're hesitant to participate because:
1) You don't think you're skills are up to snuff and/or
2) You think it will mean a significant time commitment, let me assuage your fears.

A) There are no doubt some exceptional players in the SD lounge but for the most part, the skills displayed in our last Blops tournament no doubt ranged from average to exceptional. Also, when teams are set up we attempt to balance teams as best as possible. There should be NO stacked teams.

B) Also, it will be a very very small comittment of your time. Matches will be best of 3 rounds, which means race to 2. At worst you'd play 3 rounds per match and at best 3 matches per week (and that's a best case scenario). Length of tournament is unknown at this time but it will be based on number of participants and how quickly teams can get their scheduled matches going.

MATCHUP on Friday, April 27th at 10PM. Team SST6 vs. Team Wonderbread! (Please direct all hate mail to BuckUUp for hosting and doing the write-ups! LOL)
Carnage report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round 1: Standard TDM on Hardhat. Team Wonderbread jumped out to an early lead and kept it till about 1200. SST6 rallied their entire team into the middle portion of the map and dug in (did NOT camp) and totally controlled it and took away the lead finally, all the way up to 3600. Team Wonderbread wasn't giving up and finally dug SST6 out of the middle and surged into the lead again around 4600. They started pounding Team SST6 and took a 1000 point lead! Like their enemies, SST6 were not about to give up! They mounted an amazing comeback and passed Wonderbread up at 6700 and never looked back as they took the win!

Round 2: Domination on Bootleg. The teams almost perfectly matched each other in score up to about 30, then Team Wonderbread finally pulled ahead for a bit of a lead at 43-33. Team SST6 mounted a comeback, tied it up at 53 and then finally broke into their first lead at 75-64. Life was not looking pretty for Team Wonderbread as SST6 continued to pull away even further at 91-72! We were seriously worried that (and talking about) if Wonderbread didn't formulate some kind of comeback soon that this was going to end badly. Well they did! Apparently Wonderbread had enough and brought some Big Trouble In Little China and started an AMAZING comeback! They pressed in again and again and tied it up at 123! They finally pulled ahead and won the round at 148-138. Some serious screaming, hootin' and hollerin' commenced!!

Round 3: TDM for the mode & Mission for the map. Tie-breaker time. Game on playahs!!!! Things were pretty even until SST6 started pulling away around 1000 and got a small lead at 1500-1100. They kept it going alll the way through 2600-2000. Wonderbread (the obvious come-back kings in this tourney) said "We've had enough of this crap!" and turned the power switch on again to tie it up at 3600! They slowly chipped away at SST6 with determination and surged to a 6000-5000 lead! HighDescent did have a nice final kill-cam with his Akimbo pistols on Legitbucksfan who was peeking around a corner to snipe someone! Wonderbread takes the match 2-1!!

This was an awesome round of games, back and forth all the time, no one ever giving up (or camping!) with two VERY evenly matched teams! Great one gentlemen!! ~BuckUUp


MATCHUP #1!!! Team Punishment vs ATX Tuesday March 6th 10PM EST sharp!!!Spectating is encouraged!!!

Summary: ATX was down a person for the first round of the match.

Round 1: ATX being down 1 man during the first match showed. They won the coin toss and chose TDM with Team Punishment choosing Dome as the battleground. Team Punishment jumped out to an early lead, with one member in particular enjoying some leisure time in the bunker. After a quick scolding, the second half of the match played out nicely but ATX could never catch up and lost the match by a considerable score(7500-4500)

Round 2: Punishment chose Kill Confirmed and ATX chose Lockout as the arena. BuckUup joined ATX as a 4th body on ATX. The match was close the entire way and literally had the spectators on the edge of their seats. ATX garnered a 2 or 3 kill lead about 3/4 of the way through the match and never relinquished it, finishing with a final score of 65-62, taking us to a decisive round 3.

Round 3: ATX chose Kill Confirmed after their close victory with that game type and Punishment chose Arkaden to play on. The mall can be an unforgiving place for most men,with Punishment being down 17-11 early on, but Punishment perservered and rolled over ATX in the last 3/4 of the round, winning by a 65-43 margin.

Personnel Details: Damsel was expectedly absent from the match so verbhertz gracefully subbed in her place for Team Clutch

Round 1: VDSB won the toss and chose Kill Confirmed(we picked hardcore as well but that didn't seem to be the case). Team Clutch chose Dome as the battleground and we were on our way. This match was close the ENTIRE way and literally came down to the wire. It was 63-62 with about 30 seconds left and Clutch was able to get the last two kills to secure a 65-62 victory.

Round 2: Team Clutch chose Domination for Round 2 and VDSB went with Mission for the map. Shawn Two carried VDSB in the kills department with an impressive 46 kill showing and after a fairly close start, VDSB was able to pull away in the end with a 200-165 victory, bringing us to a decisive Round 3.

Round 3: VDSB chose vanilla TDM as the gametype and Seatown made it's first appearance in the tourney as the battleground. Again, this match was close the ENTIRE way, which is not reflected in the final score as VDSB was only up 6300-5700 with about 30 seconds left and got the final four kills to end the match 6700-5700 and moving them to the winners bracket. All 3 rounds were well played games with some minor controversy thrown in. Good games guys.

TBC won the toss and chose team death match, SST6 chose interchange
TBC started out ahead but SST6 came back and pulled ahead. SST6 won by maybe 20 kills?

Round 2
SST6 chose domination, TBC chose dome
A lot of trading of domination points but SST6 controlled two for most of the match. thsweetness pulled out his reaper.
sst6 won 200 - 170ish? not sure.

SST6 wins
Round 3 was played in ground war as we pulled together to kick some booty. Fun times.


MATCHUP #4!!! Slick Seal Team Six vs Team Punishment Tuesday 3/20 at 1030pm

SST6 won the toss and chose team death match, TP chose DOME
TP started out with an early lead but SST6 stormed ahead and never looked back. Final score 7500 - 4500 or so

Round 2
TP chose kill confirmed, SST6 chose interchange
SST6 started off with a randall double kill and assist and slowly widened their lead thruout the match to win when time expired by about 12-13 kills.

MATCHUP #5!!! Team Punishment vs Team Clutch Monday 3/26 at 10pm

Round 1: It was TDM on Bootleg. This match was tight the entire way and Team Punishment simply ran out of time. Team Clutch held on and won the round 7200-6900.

Round 2: Kill Confirmed on Hardhat. Again, the match was back and forth throughout the entire match and literally came down to the wire. Team Punishment was down 58-56 with about 30 seconds left and within seconds they snagged the lead as they wiped out Team Clutch all at the same time to come away with a 60-58 victory as time ran out.

Round 3: Domination on Arkaden. Much to Damsels dismay, her team went with Arkaden. It didn't matter though as Team Clutch cruised to victory behind solid performances from everyone, winning 200-154.


MATCHUP #6!!! VDSB vs ATX Monday 3/26 at 1030pm

Round 1: ATX chose Kill Confirmed, VDSB chose Dome. VDSB jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, cruising to a dominating 65-31 victory.

Round 2: VDSB chose Domination and ATX went with Hardhat. After a hard fought battle over "B" and "C" VDSB finally came out victorious with a 200-184 win.

Team Punishment and ATX are sent packing while Team Clutch and VDSB move on for a rematch from the first round in which VDSB won the first matchup. It should be interesting.
