That's fine by me, all I know is that when they were posted in the last few years of the exact same list they were not allowed to be listed because purchase IS required- even if it's not by you personally. Also- if you're doing the registries already, they're all listed on the same forms- and once you register, they're all listed there as well. I think that they need to be moved away from the registry freebies or colorized or something to differentiate them, however. Like list gifts with registry first, then gifts with completion below- as a courtesy.

But again, in the past, gifts with completion were removed and not allowed in this forum.

right, but I don't recall ever seeing completion gifts that require $ on purchase, yet the last few years this thread was moderated such that ANY completion gift was not allowed, because the definition of completion is that something must be purchased. At least, I submitted completion offers in the past that were deleted. Who knows. As I mentioned before, I'm all for completion being listed, just as long as it's clear that they're in a different category from the registry freebies to help people sort

And for the other gifts can we just print out the registry to submit with the forms? BedBathandBeyond told us we had to use their purple paper printed in store to qualify.

I can't speak for this year, but when I was an active registrant last year, BB&B did not request special paper or anything. It may be the case this year, or it may also be a way to secure a bit of control. Sounds like the latter.

Also, in the past registrants didn't have to do anything special to receive the Bloomingdale's specific gift (Bride Wars dvd, one year). Since they don't offer any forms, I would assume they will just send it. No confirmation of this though. If someone does receive it, I hope they report it here.

Apologies for deleting completion offers, but as you can see I've re-posted them *AND ADDED NEW ONES* and made them all fancy formatted to hopefully make it easier to read. I listed completion gift offers below the registry only gift offers. I hope that works for everyone. Again, apologies for deleting them from the wiki. I was just going off of last few years' pattern.

Make sure you check the dates on some of these. The calphalon 5inch or bonus 7inch, is way past deadline.

Then remove them yourself? I just removed the ones that were expired after reading your post, but seeing as how not all of them were expired, if people were to read your post they might have disregarded the one that's there. Yes, bolding helps.

next time, just remove the expired offers and bolding wouldn't be necessary
