Just an FYI for first time Firestone deal hunters, call every Firestone in your area. The prices may vary by location. It saved me an extra $80 on my Explorer tires two years ago.

I have a hard time believing that they only mark up the tires 35%.

Really? I find it hard to believe they only mark their tires up by 35%.

"You pay what we pay" - Maybe that means you have to pay the settlement for the death tire incident Smilie

I got in on this deal last year and kept pricing tires through August and never beat the deal.

Tire shopping has far too many variables to explain online other than to say... price a few sets at a few places (Tirerack, Discount tire, Tire Barn, Firestone, Sam’s, Costco). Know your prices versus size and performance than when a good deal comes along you'll know it.

Or just buy the cheapest you can the day you need them if brand, wear, performance is of little value to you.

Yeah I got mine 2 years ago and firestone, never saw the deal beat.

I just bought a used truck that needs tires, so I'll call and see what they can do.

$50 off $100 coupons per tire very, very much beat this deal. Don't know the last time I saw that coupon, though. I confirmed that my tire purchases were "far below" their cost, which makes sense with rubber prices having gone way up in the past few years. My SUV tires were mounted and balanced for $85ish a tire for Destination LE's which are halfway decent.

Never been to a Firestone. Do they sell all brands of tires or only Firestones?

I got tires for my SUV for $470 after $50 MIR with one of the $ off 4 tires coupon + the tires were on some sort of b2g1 or something, it was an amazing deal, no other store could even come into the ballpark.

My husbands accord needs new tires now so definitely going to check out this deal.

Considering pep boys and the other tires places in town that claim to meet and beat any other competitors deal actually told me they could not touch this deal, yeah heh.. That was installed with road hazard/tax etc.

Your definition of "we" seems to be Firestone cost. Maybe they mean employee pricing.

Way too many factors that we don't know about for you to make that determination.
